Akua is a very friendly and exciting lady. She relates with everyone and in less than six months of becoming a member of our church, I can say Akua knows more people than myself after four years of membership. She is absolutely amazing in how she interacts and is extremely down to earth and unpretentious. She never says a negative word to or about anyone and is always happy to assist in every way. Akua relates to ALL, and unless you ask, you would not imagine her lever of exposure. A very versatile woman indeed. I would vote for her any day. Vote Akua!!!

Akua Yeboah Fordjour has been execptionally caring and supportive to a bereaved colleague. She has been central in motivating a cohesive, suppotive and safe forum for her student colleagues from different parts of the world. She has done this with good humour, senstivity and with no expectation of any reward!.She is passionate about justice and equality and I have no hesitation in recommending her for this award.

I got to know Akua somewhere 2005/6. it was her first time in Ghana and In Africa.After spending some time together i realised that see was so beautiful from the inside. her perception about life was different. she always looked at things on the bright side. she gave me hope when i was down. she always sought to help others especially when we drove around town and she saw people begging along the streets.she's one person i can always count on.though we are miles apart she always calls to check up on me and wish me well she tells me she prays for me always which i know she does because she's such a disciplined young woman. i pray she wins bcos she above & beyond in all she does. God Bless you Akua.
